1. Overview & Operational Location
AR Research Chems operates directly out of the Netherlands. All orders are processed, packaged, and dispatched from our primary Dutch logistics facilities. Our shipping procedures are designed to ensure product integrity, temperature and environmental stability, discreet handling, and strict compliance with Dutch export regulations and European Union chemical transport safety directives.
2. Processing & Dispatch Timelines
- Same-Day Processing Cut-off: Orders placed and verified before 12:00 PM CET (Central European Time) on a business day (Monday through Friday) are queued for same-day dispatch.
- Standard Processing Time: Orders received after 12:00 PM CET, on weekends, or during public holidays in the Netherlands will be processed on the next business day.
- Dispatch Window: Standard fulfillment takes 24 to 48 hours following payment clearance and order verification.
3. Packaging & Discretion Protocols
To protect both sensitive analytical compounds and customer privacy during transit:
- Discreet Packaging: All shipments are dispatched in plain, unbranded, opaque outer packaging (boxes or durable padded envelopes) with no external references to “Research Chemicals,” chemical names, or chemical structure details.
- Protective Barrier Storage: Chemical compounds are double-sealed in heavy-duty, tamper-evident mylar foil or specialized vacuum-sealed containers to prevent moisture exposure, contamination, or scent leakage.
- Product Labeling: Internal primary containers are accurately labeled with technical chemical identifiers, hazard symbols (in compliance with CLP Regulations), batch numbers, and chemical handling warnings required by law.
4. Shipping Methods, Rates & Estimated Transit Times
We utilize reliable regional and international courier services (including PostNL and major express logistics partners). Shipping costs are calculated during checkout based on destination, weight, and selected service tier.

5. Tracking & Shipping Confirmation
- Tracking Number Issue: Once your order is processed and handed to the carrier, a dispatch confirmation email containing your tracking number (where applicable) and tracking link will be sent to your registered email address.
- Untracked Options: If you select an untracked standard shipping method at checkout, no tracking number or delivery status updates can be generated once the package leaves our facility.
6. Customs Clearance, Duties & International Import Compliance
- Customer Responsibility: Buyers are solely responsible for ensuring that the products ordered comply with all chemical control laws, import restrictions, and statutory requirements of the destination country.
- Import Tariffs & Duties: Any applicable customs duties, import taxes, administrative clearance fees, or local VAT charged by the destination country’s border control are the sole responsibility of the buyer.
- Customs Holds & Seizures: AR Research Chems fulfills orders strictly in accordance with Dutch law. We are not liable for delivery failures, delays, or confiscations resulting from foreign customs holds, local import restrictions, or improper address entries.
7. Address Accuracy & Undeliverable Packages
- Customers must verify that their shipping address is complete, accurate, and formatted correctly prior to placing an order.
- We cannot alter shipping addresses once a package has been dispatched.
- AR Research Chems is not responsible for lost or delayed shipments caused by incorrect addresses, invalid postal codes, or recipient refusal upon delivery.
8. Lost, Stolen, or Damaged Packages
- Insured Shipments: If an order dispatched via a Tracked & Insured method is confirmed lost in transit by the carrier or arrives with broken primary containers, notify us at
support@arresearchchems.comwithin 48 hours of delivery. Following carrier claim verification, we will arrange a replacement shipment or issue a store credit/refund. - Untracked / Uninsured Shipments: Untracked shipping methods carry inherent postal risk. AR Research Chems does not guarantee reshipments or refunds for lost or un-delivered untracked packages.
